A Career Built Around the Piano
Eathan Janney has been tuning pianos professionally since around 2000. What began as deep personal engagement with the instrument evolved into a vocation — and eventually a company built around the belief that pianos deserve more than a once-a-year tuning visit.
In 2009, Eathan founded Floating Piano Factory in New York City. Over the following decade and a half, the company built a strong reputation among musicians, teachers, recording studios, private clients, and institutional environments throughout New York.
Floating Piano Factory is now expanding to Chicago, where Eathan personally performs all tuning services during the initial launch phase — ensuring the same quality standards that defined the New York practice.
